Hooooly moly. THIS WEDDING.
People ask me all the time what my wedding would be like if I were to ever get married (‘ever’ being the key word here). Now I can tell people I’d want it to be something very similar to Miranda and Nate’s. It’s so fun when the couples esthetic aligns perfectly with my vision, and when the two collide it creates photo magic* (*SEE BELOW FOR WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT).
Miranda got ready at an Airbnb in Gowanus near the venue and Nate at a hotel close by. My a-m-a-z-i-n-g second shooter in crime, Falcon Griffith, helped me set up their first look right around the corner from Green Building where the ceremony and reception was held. From there we walked around the neighborhood and took some portraits, and then met up with the bridal crew. Afterwards was family photos, ceremony, then party time. The weather was perfect, the people could not have been nicer or funnier, and the day flowed seamlessly.
I could go on and on about this wedding, but then I’d have to proof read more of my shitty grammar and that will just be embarrassing since the Groom is coming out with his own book titled Not Quite a Genius. There was SO much love on this wedding day and even I was holding back tears multiple times throughout the day. It feels like forever ago that the three of us met at a bar in Bushwick to discuss the idea of me photographing their wedding. Miranda and Nate, I’m so happy you trusted me with that job. I hope I did your day justice!!
