Born and raised in Chicago, Corielle Heath Laaspere is a web developer, marketing and branding guru, and advocate for safe and inclusive communities worldwide. Corielle graduated from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania with bachelors degrees in Sociology, Psychology and Global Studies, and she earned her Master’s in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California. Along the way, she taught herself how to code and started building websites to help pay her way through school.
Since launching her freelance career in 2014, Corielle has helped take organizations of all sizes and structures to higher levels. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and loves building websites that empower small businesses and startup companies to unlock their full potential.
Becoming a freelancer allowed Corielle to also pursue her passion, preventing sexual violence and creating safe and inclusive communities. In 2014, she co-founded a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, liftUPlift Worldwide, which has since trained over 10,000 people to speak up for the rights of others and create positive cultural norms. Through liftUPlift, Corielle has partnered with such organizations as the United Nations and Women for Women International, and she is especially proud to serve as an envoy of the U.S. State Department working to prevent violence against women in Russia and South America.
As a web developer, nonprofit founder and citizen diplomat, Corielle lives to empower others and make the world a better place.
