New Orleans. Boy is this place special. The amount of life, culture, colors, and energy this city has is unbelievable. Mix that with an awesome couple and you have yourself the best wedding weekend that ever existed. Plus, just wait until you see this couple. They are fucking gorgeous. Pardon my French but it’s true.
We started the morning at an Airbnb house that was a few blocks from the venue. Ella the bride was so calm and put out the best vibes from the minute I arrived. Also, I learned that Ella made her dress completely from stratch. How cool is that?! She owns an upholstery company in New York called Stitchroom and I loved how she stayed true to her roots even on her wedding day. Eventually I met up with Brandon and the boys at Marigny Opera House where we took some pictures and hung out until the ceremony started that Ella’s grandma officiated. Since they didn’t have a first look we took portraits after the ceremony and ended with dinner, dancing, and a ton of celebrating. Plus, they ditched a traditional cake and went right for beignets. Can you tell I was obsessed with this day yet?!
I even convinced them to do morning after photos at the Ace Hotel…just wait until you scroll all the way down. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.
